A Family Story
Our Estate is located in the village of Verzy, a terroir classified as “Grand Cru” on the Coteaux de la Montagne de Reims.
It is here that for 13 generations we have cultivated the vine with passion, always keeping in mind the idea of transmitting our know-how.
Champagne Louis de Sacy
Our family has owned vines in Champagne since 1633, but it was André Sacy in 1962 who took the plunge and decided to produce Champagne by initially founding Champagne Sacy Père et Fils, which would later become Champagne Louis de Sacy.
In France and abroad
Alain Sacy subsequently invested in the vineyard in order to be completely independent and was thus able to present his vintages in France and in different countries, starting with New York City in 2001.
Yaël and Jonathan Sacy, after various professional experiences in France and abroad, joined the family estate in 2013 in order to continue its development and bring a new philosophy to the vineyard and winemaking.
A Unique terroir
Today, we cultivate 18 hectares of vines while respecting our environment.
An environmental approach is underway and we are thus labeled HVE (High Environmental Value) and VDC (Sustainable Viticulture in Champagne).
These labels take into account criteria such as water management and biodiversity on the estate.
A significant part of the estate has also been certified in organic viticulture with the ecocert label since the 2023 harvest and another part is in organic conversion.
